NORDIC WALKING ASSOCIATION OF NORTH AMERICA

The Nordic Walking Association of North America (NWANA) is the continental sport federation responsible for developing and governing Nordic Walking across the United States and the wider North American region. NWANA licenses athletes, sanctions competitions, accredits regional operators, and establishes the official rules of competition. The federation develops education systems for instructors, coaches, and judges, and oversees continental programs in anti‑doping and Safe Sport. NWANA builds the institutional framework that defines and regulates Nordic Walking as a modern competitive sport on the continent.
